Our story

Thai Smile Travel has been a registered Thai travel business since April 2010. Sixteen years on the same roads: the floating markets before the crowds, the line to Ayutthaya, the bridge and the railway at Kanchanaburi.

We are a licensed tour operator, not a booking site reselling somebody else's seats. The person who replies to your message is the person who arranges your day, and the person you can reach if something changes.

Sixteen day trips run from Bangkok right now, from 1,275 baht per person. We collect you from your hotel and you are back the same evening.

Who takes you out

The business is run by Thanyapat Chaiyaboon, who holds the tourism business licence it operates under and has done since 2010.

Every booking is confirmed by a person, not an automatic reply. Message us before you book if you are unsure whether a trip suits your group — we would rather talk you out of the wrong day than sell you one.

Safety standards

We do not provide travel or accident insurance, and none is included in the price of a tour. We recommend you travel with your own cover.

Pickup times are estimates based on weekday traffic, not promises. The waterfalls, the rivers and the rafting all depend on the weather and the water level, and we will tell you honestly what a day is likely to look like before you travel rather than after you have paid.

Elephant rides are for guests aged 4 and over. Swimming is at your own risk — the pools are natural, with rocks and changing depth. Tell us before you book about pregnancy, injuries, mobility needs or medical conditions so we can say plainly whether a trip is right for you.
